ALL DISTRICTS WELCOME

It is that time of year when school is about to start and we focus on Fall Recruitment. The SELA Back to the Pack Cub Roundup Training is Thursday Aug 7^th  at 7PM. This meeting will be held at the cafeteria of St. Mary Magdalen located at 6425 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003 close to Airline Park Blvd. parking in the horseshoe and next driveway. Meeting and training starts at 7 sharp. Please arrive early to get your supplies of posters, signs, applications, flyer samples, handouts etc  before the meeting starts. We will be available starting at 6:30.

We will discuss joining fees,  handbooks, Leader Training, School talks to the youth,Join School Night Recruitment meeting, Fall program opportunities including scout overnighter, zoofari, Fall Encampment, Pinewood Derby, renewal process overview, marketing materials, and distribute school night supplies. Lots of information for new or experienced leaders as a lot has changed.

Every scout deserves a trained and informed leader!

We request all packs to be in attendance with the cubmaster, den leaders and the team conducting the round up. Please come to this prepared with your calendar date for roundup and the day of your classroom visits.
