"Beneath the Ice: The Folk Art of Robert A. Schwartz" - Feb. 1 - 28 - 2nd floor, Burton Barr Central Library (1221 N. Adult Training

The primary purpose of the Wood Badge experience is to strengthen Scouting in our units, districts, and local councils, by training adult leaders. Click here

Recently, we have had some training courses that would not appear to live up to the expectations of the published syllabus, which we are required to follow to meet BSA standards.  To ensure training consistent with national policies and to evaluate training, district and other training courses need to be approved by the council training committee. 2013 Jamboree and Treks

The Grand Canyon Council will be sending 6 Troops of 36 scouts each and 1/2 of a Co-ed Venturing Crew to the 2013 National Jamboree. This will be the first Jamboree held at the new BSA owned Bechtel Scout Reservation in West Virginia. If you are interested in attending or would like more information click here.
