DESCRIPTION:Den Leader Training \n  \n  \n You are invited to an in-person Den Leader Training Meeting for: \n  \n  \n  \n 	Den Leader / Assistant Den Leader \n  \n  \n Where:           Rayne United Methodist Church, 3900 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans \n  \n  \n When:           August 29th - 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Who should take this training? \n  \n  \n New Tiger Cub (1st grade), Cub Scout (2nd-3rd grade) , and Webelos (4th-5th grade) Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders \n  \n  \n Why should I take this training? \n  \n  \n No Den Leader wants to let down the Cub Scouts in their den (a group of 8-10 Cub Scouts that’s part of a larger Cub Scout group called a “pack”). Wouldn’t it be great if you could have fun and know what you’re doing? You can, if you get trained! \n  \n  \n Den Leader-Specific Training will give you an introduction to everything you need to know about being a Den Leader, from planning meetings with fun activities to helping Scouts earn their next rank advancement and more. It won’t answer every single question you have, but it’s a great start. And, it’s available online so you can complete it in 10-minute modules during free time. You can also take the course in person; an advantage of doing it this way is you’ll be able to ask questions of and get feedback from an experienced Scouter who has been in your shoes before. \n  \n  \n This in person Training will help you make your Pack and Den meetings FUN for you AND your Scouts! \n  \n  \n Please register in advance at the link below. \n
