Become a certified instructor and help others reach new heights.  This training provides the knowledge, techniques, and hands-on practice you need to lead safe, effective, and inspring climbing experiences.

Who:  Adults & Youth - Youth 16 and 17 are able to attend but only those 18 and over are eligible for Level 1 or Level 2 (21+) Climbing Instructor Certification.  Location-Council Service Center, 4200 S. I-10 Service Rd. West, Metairie.

When:  Classroom Training Dates are January 19, 21, 26, & 28, 2027 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm.  On Site Training dates at Camp V Bar are January 29-31, February 12-14, and March 5-7.  

It is preferred that participants attend all dates above to get a thorough training.  However, if you cannot attend a training, please reach out to Bruce Leinweber at leinweberbruce@gmail.com.

Donations to cover the cost of food are welcome for the at-camp weekends.  However, it is not required to attend.
