Cub World

Come bring in the spring at Camp V-Bar with adventure and excitement.  Cub World is a program geared for Cub Scouts where they spend two nights camping in a tent and participating in an assortment of fun activities around camp.  Including  Range & Targets (Archery and BB guns), swimming, boating, imagining the past on the pirate ship, at the mediveval castle or under one of the Three indian TP's.  The Adventure awaits...   

Webelos Adventure Camp

This camp, offered during the summer, is an opportunity for our Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts to having an adventure or preview of what they can expect once they cross over to Scouts BSA.  Scouts attend with their leaders and participate in selection of electives and rank requirements instructed by our Summer Camp Staff.  All of Camp V-bars summer ammeties are open and available to the Scouts that attend.

Cub Day Camp in a Day

Cub Scout Day Camp in a Day is a 1-day outdoor experience under the supervision of specially trained volunteers. 

Besides the fun each Scout will have, they will learn skills that will help them throughout their Scouting career and beyond. They will meet other Cub Scouts and Leaders from around the Council, and as with any other aspect of the Scouting program, it will help to instill in them the values and character they will need to become the kind of individuals we want them to be.

Day Camp.

• Provides the Scout with an opportunity to begin work towards their next rank in Cub Scouting.
• Encourages participation so that Cub Scouts benefit and grow with a good outdoor experience.
• Assists in the recruiting and inspiration of future Cub Scout Leaders and helps strengthen den and Pack organization.
• Provides a continuation of the Cub Scout program through the summer and assists the Pack in qualifying for the Summertime Pack Award.

Cub Fall Encampment

Is our first opportunity for New Cubs to explore Camp V-Bar, spend the two nights camping in a tent and participate in an assortment of fun activities around camp while meeting Cub Scouts from all over our Council.  Fall Encampment is held in October of each year.

Cub Shooting Sports Day

This is a one day fun filled experience for cub scouts to practice their BB Gun shooting and Slingshot skills.
