Strategic Plan

Southeast Louisiana Council

Organizations create strategic plans to define their vision of future success, and to create a roadmap to get there.  However, some organizations do not follow through with executing the plan, and it ends up simply sitting on a shelf.  Southeast Louisiana Council is committed to using the strategic plan as a tool to help us work towards our goals.  Dr. Andrew Todd led the committee to draft the Strategic Plan, which was presented to the Executive Board for approval. Throughout the year, progress against the plan is measured, and the 5-year window is extended at the Annual Business meeting.

The SELA Strategic Plan focuses on multiple areas, including growing membership and engagement, increasing council and district program opportunities, increasing our financial stability, maintaining and upgrading our properties, and refining our governance model.
