The New Orleans Steamboat Company has graciously extended a special invitation to area Boy Scouts to attend the Christening of the Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS—a proud new addition to the city's historic riverfront, docked beside their iconic flagship, the Steamboat NATCHEZ.

This is a unique opportunity for Scouts to be part of a meaningful civic tradition and represent the Southeast Louisiana Council with pride. All Scouts are encouraged to attend in uniform.

We hope many of our units will take advantage of this exciting event, and we look forward to more fantastic opportunities to come from our friends at the New Orleans Steamboat Company!
