The Southeast Louisiana Council has received an opportunity to partner with Pontchartrain Conservancy for a conservation project on Saturday, September 23rd.  The project will consist of removing invasive Chinese Tallow at 2401 Westbend Parkway, New Orleans, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Scouting BSA members working on Environmental Science, Sustainability, Life Scout Rank or other conservation projects are welcome to attend.  Participation is limited to the first 30 scouts and adults who register, and they will need to be prepared with gloves and footwear that can get wet as conditions may be a bit boggy.
